Even your slightest movement will catch the viewer’s eye, as the light always finds a new angle to play upon in the creoles —whether it’s raw beach stones glistening in the moonlight, to which the jewelry transports you, or sunlight breaking through the surface of the water.
Something similar applies to my inspiration: Is it from shimmering autumn leaves after a shower, or the texture of dried clay, where nature itself has created a pattern completely devoid of symmetry? With this design, I don’t know exactly. Perhaps both. Regardless, I’ve pursued the tactile quality that makes the piece feel as though it were found rather than conceived.
