Korset er inspireret af de middelalderkors, som var kendetegnet ved deres enkle skønhed uden for meget hurlumhej. Det spiller fint sammen med, at jeg har forarbejdet smykkets overflade, så det fremstår med den karakteristiske slidte patina, vi kender fra kors, der er fundet i skatte- og gravkamre. I midten er der placeret en smuk lyseblå apatit.
