I was inspired by the elegant oval guava leaf with its distinct midrib. The alternating surface that changes from shimmer to shadow reflects the jewelry’s ability to interact with light.
The guava tree is vital to the people of the rainforest as the leaves are distributed to retain moisture through their optimal shading of the soil. The tree is also fast-growing and therefore central to the existence of the rainforest.
