The three parts of the earrings have sea urchin imprints in three different sizes from my private collection of seashells. They are lenticular/curved on the top and are less than half the thickness or height of the sea urchins I have cast them from. I’ve also made the three casts “thin” on the back – meaning they’re roughly the same shape as a magnified droplet of water that has landed on a table, which makes the design more light and vibrant. A small white topaz is set in the center of each piece.
