The creoles sit between the elegant and the unruly, the polished and the organic. Reminding me of liquid gold just before it solidifies, as if the metal is still alive. This is how I have strived to capture form in the midst of movement. A piece of jewelry that doesn’t carry the light, but gathers it. A raw surface that seems found rather than created. A beauty that doesn’t try to be perfect – only unforgettable.
