The pendant of the necklace is my own free interpretation of the peacock butterfly. When I was a child, our garden on Valby Hill would always be swarmed during the summer. What I thought was special about it was its distinct veining and curved wingtips. The butterfly appeared in early spring after hibernation and again around July and into the fall. I have illustrated the back with a small massive drop.
